Mode of Action:
Ethion
- Ethion is an Acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, which is responsible for inhibition of enzyme Acetylcholinesterase resulting into blockage in the transmission of nerve impulses in insects and mites
Cypermethrin
- Non-systemic
insecticide with contact and stomach action
- Kill pests by making the pests stop eating
- Works on
the nervous system of insects and disrupts the nervous system
Antidote:
Wash skin with 5% sodium bicarbonate solution. Wash the eyes with 3% sodium bicarbonate and then administer1 to 2 drops of 1% homatropine solution. Immediately inject 2mg atropine sulphate i.v. repeat if necessary at 15 min. interval until pulse is accele
