Mode of Action:

  • Abamectin is a avermectin group which is a contact poison that decreases the activity of the blood cholinesterase enzyme and works as a nerve poison.
  • It works as contact and stomach action.
  • It also has translaminar action so has the ability to penetrate into Crop tissues.
