Mode of Action:
- MEZO GR is a natural analogue of nereistoxin, has
systemic as well as stomach and contact action
- It is a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) channel blockers. It blocks the cholinergic transmission in the insect nerves system
- Treated insects stops feeding just after the application.
Which results death of insects due to starvation
Antidote:
L-cysteine (intravenous) or dimercaprol or 2,3 dimercapto propanol (intra muscular), steroids for dermatitis are recommended.
